CJ`s Grille in Andalusia

Great steak cooked just right! Unusual but delicious macaroni and cheese. Really liked the atmosphere - lucky to catch it on a night with love music. I will be going back.

Not thrilled with customer service. Nice environment, decent prices, pretty good food...when they get the order right. But the waitresses do not appreciate being asked to do something extra, like bring more napkins. Went on a lunch hour and it took a good 45 min to get our food. Not all that impressed, actually.

I am in love with the fresh wonderful flavor of the entire menu. Great staff and lots of smiles.

We love this restaurant, the food is amazing. I am sitting here dreaming about the bruschetta it's my favorite, along with the black and blue salad. Great atmosphere and service. We are regulars and love it. It's nestled in the heart of this small town and any of the negative reviews on here were probably just unfortunate days that happens at any restaurant. Don't let it keep you from trying this place!

I really like this place for their good food. The drinks are usually excellent. And they were, but we had a bottle cap in my wife's drink. They were super nice about it but still charged full price. I thought that was kind of lacking in service a little. If not for that, I would have given all five stars.

Food was good, service sucked. Our order was not put in and after 45 minutes they realized we did not have our order. They did discount our ticket. Nice atmosphere.

The ribeye was pretty great. I loved the line on the menu regarding medium well and well done steaks. The shrimp and grits were also fantastic and so was the Mac and cheese!

Great Valentine's special

My family was here for a funeral and was recommended that we stop here for dinner. This was a small restaurant that was quite simple from a decoration standpoint. We arrived at opening at 5pm. We were promptly seated. The menu was primarily pasta, seafood, and steaks. They serve homemade chips upon your arrival. The prices entrees on average were around the $16-$18 range. We brought our children but they did not have a children's menu. I would not recommending being children here in the future. I ordered a ribeye and my wife ordered the fried shrimp. The steak was cooked to my liking and had a good taste/seasoning. The shrimp were some of the best fried shrimp I've eaten in a while. The service was good, although it could of been better. Our table was not cleared prior to the delivery of our entrees. The server just needed a little more experience. I would recommend this restaurant for people living and traveling through Andalusia.

We were visiting Andalusia AL. for a long weekend. Stopped here after the movie. On the town square. They were out of salmon.The wait staff suggested Arctic Char . Relayed to trout and salmon. Less fatty.. The chef sent two pieces. My husband enjoyed sharing some. Cooked to perfection. A little lemon with herbs. Will try this fish in again......

i loved the food, had a good time with friends, great environment to have a conversation. i believe nothing can be perfect, so a four star is amazing!!!

Me and my date were going to go to Big Mike's tonight, but the wait was crazy. We decided to go to CJ' s instead. The food was superb! The staff was very attentive and courteous. We were both very pleased with our meals, and will visit again!!

Their in-house chips are great. I love the pub style atmosphere. My table was a little wobbly, and they should serve the salads in bowls instead of saucer plates. Overall the atmosphere and feel of the restaurant will keep me coming back to CJ's for a long time.

I really enjoyed my visit to the newly reopened CJ's Grille. This restaurant offers a causal dining experience for lunch and dinner. The food is well done and of good quality. The staff is friendly and courteous. I will be back!

Wow!!! What a cozy and casual place..super chill atmosphere. An obivious fav among locals, CJs Grille was exceptional from when you arrived till you walked out the door. Food was amazing!! Service on time with EVERYTHING from drinks, menus, food, and even to go boxes. We just couldnt eat even 1/2 of it. Way to go CJ's!!! Shi'Amber, you were so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. A breath of fresh air. Thank you so much for making our dining experience Wonderful!!

Good local restaurant. Occasionally the menu is rotated out, but they always have good food. Only once in many visits has my meal not been great. It was just too charred of a burger. Easy fix by scrapping off a bit of it. No bid deal. Great steaks, homemade chips, unique spin on cheese sticks, and not too expensive pricing.

Best steak in town. I enjoyed the Valentine dinner with steak and lobster tonight and it was very good!! All you can eat fried oysters last weekend was yummy also. Great place to eat with friendly service.

Delicious food ,with affordable prices. The grilled steak and potato cassoerole is the best around, Thanks to the owner and staff for a great meal every time! The restaurant is clean , and the food is fresh and hot.

After getting and being charged for food we didn’t order, receiving incorrect orders, and having burnt burgers, our waitress gave us the wrong change. Would not recommend this restaurant to a friend.

I love the atmosphere and the food. The service is great, I'm delivering right around the corner in the morning and was looking for a place to eat and this is where I stopped. everything about this place is amazing, if I'm ever back in town I shall be stopping by again.

Just off the charming Court Square of Andalusia, AL (the hometown of one of my students at Troy University), CJs is a homey place with great food. I had the close to perfection lobster mac (plenty of lobster and no grease from the melted cheese) and some meaty chicken wings. I was full but took a piece of red velvet cheesecake to go. Check this place out!

Had a surprise birthday party there. Had a blast. Food and service was excellent.

This place is a must stop. The atmosphere is great and so was the food. Definitely be back on our way to and from the beach! Have the potato soup, it is awesome!

The greeter was nice friendly and great with my order. The place looks great, the food looks great and fast service. However, the food I ordered was drowned in butter. Alfredo, I could not even eat because each bite tasted like it was all salt and melted butter. The lobster Mac and cheese was slightly better bit was more like butter soup. I would love to try again but I'm hesitant.

Great customer service. Food is delicious. Very high quality foods. A must if your looking for quaint romantic setting.

Desperately needs to train their staff. Nobody greeted us or any of the other the guests when we arrived. There were dirty tables that nobody cleaned the entire time we waited. Dirty tables continued to pile up as dozens of people waited to be seated.

Perfect little spot for lunch if you're a traveler and wanting to get off the beaten path. My kids loved the mac and cheese especially, and the Cuban was delicious in every way. Attentive, thoughtful service. An added plus is getting to experience the small town of Andalusia and its murals too. Highly recommend it all!

Food was ok, green beans were cold. Service could have been better.
